Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Sergei P. Chigrinov

Born in 1963 in the town of Cherven, the Minsk region.
 
In 1988 graduated from Minsk Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR.
 
In 1988-1990 held operational posts in the bodies of internal affairs in the city of Minsk.
 
Since 1990 − postgraduate studies at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. After graduation defended a Candidate thesis. Has the academic title of associate professor.
 
Since 1993 held different posts in the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus: a lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, Head of the Department of Constitutional and International Law, Head of the Research and Education Faculty, Deputy Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on education and stuffing.
 
Since 2005 − doctoral studies at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
 
Since December 2007 − Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus.
 
Author of more than 40 research publications in the field of constitutional and administrative law.
 
He has been assigned the highest qualification class of the 2nd rank. In 2014 awarded with the medal “For Labour Merits”.
