Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus
Liliya G. Kozyreva
Born in 1952 in the town of Bobruisk, the Mogilev region.
In 1977 graduated from Law Faculty of the Belarusian State University.
Started her professional career as a trainee of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Mstislavl district, the Mogilev region.
In 1979-1991 − a consultant, then a state arbitrator in the State Arbitration under the Minsk Regional Executive Committee.
In 1991 appointed judge of the economic court of the Minsk region, in 1995 – judge of the Supreme Economic Court of the Republic of Belarus. In 2001-2008 – Deputy Chairwoman of the Supreme Economic Court of the Republic of Belarus.
Since February 2008 − Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus.
Participated in the elaboration of the Economic Procedural Code of the Republic of Belarus and other legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus.
Has a number of publications. A co-author of commentaries to the Economic Procedural Code of the Republic of Belarus, Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus with the case-law review of economic courts, Law of the Republic of Belarus “On the Economic Insolvency (Bankruptcy)”. An author of the tutorial “International Regulation of Foreign Economic Activities”.
She has been assigned the highest qualification class of the 2nd rank. Honoured Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus. Awarded with the Medal for Impeccable Service 3rd Class (2023).
