Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus
Stanislav Y. Danilyuk
Born in 1955 in the city of Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, the Khabarovsk Krai, the Russian Federation.
In 1980 graduated from Minsk Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR.
Worked in the bodies of internal affairs of the Russian Federation, then − in the bodies of internal affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
In 1990 completed postgraduate studies at the Moscow Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR and defended a Candidate thesis. Has an academic title of associate professor.
In 1990-2001 held different posts at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus: a lecturer, senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Head of the Department of Legal Regulation of Crimes Investigation at the Investigation and Expertise Faculty, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology.
In 2001-2006 − Head of the Expert Legal Division at the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus.
Participated in the elaboration of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (1999), laws and other acts of legislation in the sphere of national security.
Since September 2006 − Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus.
Author of more than 100 academic publications in the field of philosophy of law, constitutional law, criminal law and criminology.
He has been assigned the highest qualification class of the 2nd rank. Honoured Lawyer of the Republic of Belarus. Awarded with the medals “For Honourable Service” of 3rd, 2nd and 1st classes.
