In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of laws

On November 25, 2010 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

“On Ratification of the Treaty between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Republic of Poland Government on the Rules of Border Crossing” (a reporting judge – Alexander V. Maryskin);

“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Montenegro Government on Mutual Trips of Citizens” (a reporting judge – Alexander V. Maryskin);

“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay Government on Visa-free Trips with Diplomatic, Service and Official Passports” (a reporting judge – Valentina V. Podgrusha);

“On Ratification of the Visa Waiver Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Republic of Peru Government for Holders of Diplomatic, Special, and (or) Official Passports” (a reporting judge – Leonid M. Ryabtsev);

“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the French Republic for Co-operation in Culture, Education, Science and Technology, Mass Media” (a reporting judge – Valentina V. Podgrusha).

Based on the results of consideration all the laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
