The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr P. Miklashevich took part in the international conference «The Constitutional Court in the system of state bodies: crucial problems and ways to resolve them», that was held in Kiev.
On the 16th of May, 2008 the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr P. Miklashevich took part in the international conference «The Constitutional Court in the system of state bodies: crucial problems and ways to resolve them», that was held in Kiev.
Representatives from 14 countries of Europe and the CIS, the constitutional courts, the state and scientific organisations took part in the forum.
The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr P. Miklashevich addressed the meeting with the report dedicated to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus, its role and place in system of the state bodies, judicial system of the country, also issues of the realization of the right to the appeal in the Constitutional Court, perspectives of the constitutional justice in our state.
During the conference Petr P.Miklashevich had a number of meetings with Chairmans of the Constitutional Courts of Ukraine A.Stryzhak, Moldova – D.Pulbere, Azerbaijan – F.Abdulaev, Kazakhstan – I.Rogov and the Secretary of the Venice Commission G.Buquicchio.
