     On 18th of June, 2008 the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr P. Miklashevich has met the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Turkey led by the Chairman of the Group of inter-parliamentary cooperation «Turkey — Belarus» Mr. Reha Chamuroglu.
      Petr P. Miklashevich acquainted visitors with the structure, competence of the Constitutional Court, subjects which have the right to make an application to the Constitutional Court to give the Judgment on the conformity of normative legal acts to the Constitution. He also informed the guests about the measures on strengthening of the institute of the constitutional control in our country.
      He noted that the Constitutional Court actively cooperates with the Parliament of Belarus. The House of Representatives of National Assembly is the active subject of the application to the Constitutional Court. In its turn, the Constitutional Court submits considerable amount of proposals on legislation perfection to the Parliament and majority of them finds support at the deputy corps.
