Delegation of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine led by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Andriy Stryzhak had visited Minsk from 21st to 22nd of July, 2008.
      The Memorandum of cooperation between the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine was signed on 22nd of July, 2008. The parties agreed to arrange bilaterial meetings at level of heads, judges and employees for the purpose of studying of experience of activity, to exchange the legal acts adopted within their competence, to hold of scientific forums on the actual topics of the constitutional justice, to exchange on a regular basis of scientific publications. Signing of the specified document was a natural result of long-term cooperation between bodies of the constitutional control of Belarus and Ukraine.
      The Memorandum of cooperation is a legal basis for the further effective development of bilaterial relations for the purpose of the promotion of the constitutional legality, protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens of our states.
      Durung the visit the delegation had a number of meetings with judges of the Constitutional Court of Republic of Belarus, heads of state bodies of our country, acquaintance to sights of Belarus.
