The International Conference was attended by chairmen and judges of the constitutional courts of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, representatives of international organisations and constitutional scholars.

The discussions focused on the role of constitutional justice in ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution, protection of the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, current trends in the development of constitutional review, promising areas for improving the work of constitutional courts, and other topics.

Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Alla Bodak made a presentation on the topic “The Updated Constitution of the Republic of Belarus: Development of Constitutional Review”.
