Deputy Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Natallia Karpovich took part in the events on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye

On 25–26 April 2025, in Istanbul, Deputy Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Natallia Karpovich took part in the events on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chairmen and judges of constitutional review bodies from 35 countries, representatives of 7 international courts and other international organisations, including the European Court of Human Rights, the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions, the Conference of European Constitutional Courts, etc.

As part of the programme of events, an international symposium “The Future of Constitutional Justice in the 21st Century” was held, during which the challenges and perspectives of constitutional justice in the digital age were discussed.

Natallia Karpovich delivered a welcoming speech at a special session, congratulating the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye on the significant date and informing the participants about the new powers of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus according to the amendments made to the Constitution following the results of the national referendum on 27 February 2022.
