On 18 July 2024 the President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko met with the judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus.

The issues related to the implementation by the Constitutional Court of new powers provided for by the updated Constitution were discussed at the meeting.

Particular attention was paid to ensuring the implementation of the constitutional complaint to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, interaction between the Constitutional Court and the courts of general jurisdiction, initiation of constitutional proceedings by authorised state bodies.
