On the Constitution Day the Belarusian campaign “We are Citizens of Belarus!” was held together with the Belarusian Republican Youth Union in the Constitutional Court. During the solemn ceremony the judge of the Constitutional Court Sergei Chigrinov presented passports to 14-year-old young citizens – A grade students, participants of scientific and practical conferences, winners and prize-winners of republican Olympiads.

Addressing those present, Sergei Chigrinov noted that a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus is a special legal document that provides broad rights and imposes obligations. Among them are observance of the Constitution and laws, respect of the rights and freedoms of compatriots, homeland defence and being patriots of their country.

Sergei Chigrinov congratulated young people on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus and the day of their civil maturity and wished them great results in studies and other fields.
