During the period from October 17 to October 31, 2008 the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 26 June 2008 No. 14 “On some measures on the improvement of the activity of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus” in accordance with the procedure of the obligatory preliminary control has considered 27 laws of the Republic of Belarus (such as “On the Budget 2009 of the Republic of Belarus”, “On the Credit History”, “On the Boundary service of the Republic of Belarus” and other) and has delivered decisions on its conformity to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

At the same time the Constitutional Court has noted the presence of editorial inaccuracies in examined laws that does not exclude various interpretation of some norms and can cause their ambiguous application in practice.

Decisions were published in the Bulletin of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus "Vestnik Konstitutsionnogo Suda Respubliki Belarus".
