On 16 April 2019 Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr Miklashevich met with the delegation of the France-Belarus Friendship Group of the Senate of the French Republic
During the meeting Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr Miklashevich informed on the development of constitutional review in the Republic of Belarus, formation and competences of the Constitutional Court, individual access to constitutional justice. The constructive international cooperation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus with the Constitutional Council of the French Republic and the study of the French experience of constitutional construction were noted.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Finance of the French Senate, Chairman of the France-Belarus Friendship Group of the Senate of the French Republic Charles Guené informed on activities of the French Constitutional Council and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to hold the meeting and interest in further cooperation between our countries.
