On 19 December 2017 Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr Miklashevich held a meeting with Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe Christos Giakoumopoulos
During the meeting Petr Miklashevich told about the development of the constitutional review in the Republic of Belarus, the formation and competences of the Constitutional Court, its activities and decisions, individual’s access to constitutional justice and international cooperation of the Constitutional Court.
Mr Christos Giakoumopoulos emphasised constructive relations established between the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus and the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and expressed willingness for continuation and development of cooperation.
