Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Petr Miklashevich took part in the XXII Yerevan International Conference held on 19-21 October 2017 in Yerevan (Republic of Armenia). The topic of the conference was “The Role of Constitutional Courts in Overcoming Constitutional Conflicts”
The international forum was attended by chairmen and judges of the bodies of constitutional justice from 15 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, representatives of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, prominent legal scholars.
The conference was focused on issues related to various aspects of the relationship between the branches of power, ways of resolution of disputes arising between constitutional bodies, the role of bodies of constitutional review in this process.
Mr Petr Miklashevich made a presentation at the plenary session on the topic “State Power: Constitutional and Legal Regulation” (in Russian).
