Voronovich T.V. Influence of Constitutional Review on the Exercise of the Principle of Separation of Powers
The author reveals the meaning and content of the principle of separation of powers which is the constitutional basis for the exercise of state power in the Republic of Belarus. The role of constitutional review in the exercise of this constitutional principle in modern conditions is analysed.
Sergeeva O.G. Constitutional and Legal Aspects of People's Participation in the Administration of Justice
The article deals with the development of the institution of involvement of representatives of the people in administration of justice in the historical aspect. Taking into account foreign experience, the author examines the issues of legislative consolidation of the forms of people's participation in justice. The constitutional and legal aspects of the participation of citizens of the Republic of Belarus in judicial proceedings are analysed (at present – as people's assessors). The author grounds the conclusion that participation of individuals in the administration of justice is an element of a democratic state based on the rule of law, one of the forms of implementing the constitutional principle of democracy.
