On 13 October 2016 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the laws of the Republic of Belarus «On the Conformity Assessment to Technical Requirements and Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies», «On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On Technical Regulation and Standardisation», «On Enforcement Proceedings», «On the Law Enforcement Officers»
By virtue of Article 116.1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, Article 22.3.2 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Judicial System and Status of Judges, Article 98 and Article 101.1 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On the Constitutional Proceedings» in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
«On the Conformity Assessment to Technical Requirements and Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies» (reporting judge – Natalya Karpovich);
«On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On Technical Regulation and Standardisation» (reporting judge – Sergei Chigrinov);
«On Enforcement Proceedings» (reporting judge – Tadeush Voronovich);
«On the Law Enforcement Officers» (reporting judge – Tadeush Voronovich).

Based on the results of consideration the laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time the Constitutional Court stated its legal positions aimed to clarify the constitutional and legal meaning of certain rules of the laws.
