On 6 July 2016 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the laws of the Republic of Belarus «On Approval of the Report on Execution of the Republican Budget for 2015», «On Approval of the Report on Execution of the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Belarus for 2015», «On State Environmental Expertise, Strategic Environmental Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment», «On Making Alterations and Addenda to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Improving the Public Prosecution Structure» and others
By virtue of Article 116.1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, Article 22.3.2 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Judicial System and Status of Judges, Article 98 and Article 101.1 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On the Constitutional Proceedings» in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
«On Approval of the Report on Execution of the Republican Budget for 2015» (reporting judge – Tatyana Boiko);
«On Approval of the Report on Execution of the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Belarus for 2015» (reporting judge – Tatyana Boiko);
«On State Environmental Expertise, Strategic Environmental Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment» (reporting judge – Natalya Karpovich);
«On Making Alterations and Addenda to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Improving the Public Prosecution Structure» (reporting judge – Stanislav Danilyuk);
«On Approval of the Report on Execution of the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Fund of the Department of Corrections of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for 2015» (reporting judge – Tatyana Boiko);
«On Approval of the Report on Execution of the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Fund of Civil Aviation for 2015» (reporting judge – Tatyana Boiko);
«On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On Plant Protection» (reporting judge – Sergei Chigrinov);
«On Making Addenda and Alterations to the Natural Resources Code of the Republic of Belarus» (reporting judge – Anatoly Tikovenko);
«On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Belarus» (reporting judge – Leonid Ryabtsev);
«On Making Alterations and Addenda to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on State Statistics» (reporting judge – Natalya Karpovich).
Based on the results of consideration the laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time the Constitutional Court stated its legal positions aimed to clarify the constitutional and legal meaning of certain rules of the laws.
