The judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Natalya A. Karpovich took part in the International Conference “Constitutional Justice as a Guarantee of Ensuring the Supremacy of the Constitution” devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan which was held on 17-18 September 2015 in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan)
The conference was attended by representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial powers of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the constitutional review bodies of Armenia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey and Uzbekistan, the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, as well as by scientists in the field of the constitutional law of Germany, Latvia and other countries.
 
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon addressed the forum with a welcoming speech.
 
During the Conference the role and goals of the constitutional justice in ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution and protection of the constitutional values were discussed. The importance of the constitutional review in the structure of modern statehood was underlined.
