In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of laws of the Republic of Belarus

On December 27, 2013 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

«On Republican Budget for 2014» (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

«On Making Alterations and Addenda to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Entrepreneurial Activity and Taxation» (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

«On the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Fund of Social Security of the Population of the Republic of Belarus for 2014» (reporting judge – Valentina V. Podgrusha);

«On the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Fund of Penitentiary Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus for 2014» (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

«On the Budget of the State Non-Budgetary Fund of Civil Aviation for 2014» (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

and other laws.

Based on the results of consideration the said laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time the Constitutional Court stated its legal positions aimed to clarify the constitutional and legal meaning of certain provisions of the reviewed laws.
