In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of laws of the Republic of Belarus

On December 26, 2012 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

 «On State Allowances for Families Bringing up Children» (reporting judge – Valentina V. Podgrusha);

«On Commercial Secrets» (reporting judge – Liliya G. Kozyreva);

«On Publishing Activities in the Republic of Belarus» (reporting judge – Vladimir P. Isotko);

«On Making Alterations and Addenda to Some Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Advertizing» (reporting judge – Vladimir P. Isotko);

 «On Annulment of Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Belarus and their Certain Provisions» (reporting judge – Vladimir P. Isotko).

Based on the results of consideration the said laws were recognized to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time the Constitutional Court stated its legal positions aimed to clarify the constitutional and legal meaning of certain provisions of the reviewed laws.
