In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of laws of the Republic of Belarus

On October 16, 2012 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

«On the Republican Budget for 2013» (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

«On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Budget Code of the Republic of Belarus» (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

«On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus» (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

«On the Budget of the State Extra-budgetary Fund of Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Belarus for 2013» (reporting judge – Liliya G. Kozyreva);

«On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus «On Pension Provision» (reporting judge – Valentina V. Podgrusha).

Based on the results of consideration the said laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time the Constitutional Court stated its legal positions aimed to clarify the constitutional and legal meaning of certain provisions of the reviewed laws.
