On July 9, 2012 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
”On State's Procurement of Goods” (reporting judge – Liliya G. Kozyreva);
“On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Pension Provision” (reporting judge – Valentina V. Podgrusha);
”On Making Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On State’s Social Benefits, Rights and Guarantees for Individual Categories of Citizens” (reporting judge – Valentina V. Podgrusha);
”On Making Alterations and Addenda to Some Codes of the Republic of Belarus Regarding Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues” (reporting judge – Anatoly G. Tikovenko);
”On Making Alterations and Addenda to Some Laws of the Republic of Belarus Regarding Social Service” (reporting judge – Tadeush V. Voronovich).
Based on the results of consideration the said laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time the Constitutional Court stated its legal positions aimed to clarify the constitutional and legal meaning of certain provisions of the reviewed laws.
