In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of laws of the Republic of Belarus

On July 4, 2012 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

”On the Committee of Inquiry of the Republic of Belarus” (reporting judge – Leonid M. Ryabtsev);

“On the Approval of the Report on the Execution of the Republican Budget for 2011” (reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

”On the Amnesty of Some Categories of Persons Who Have Committed Crimes” (reporting judge – Stanislav Y. Danilyuk).

Based on the results of consideration the said laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time the Constitutional Court stated its legal positions aimed to clarify the constitutional and legal meaning of certain provisions of the reviewed laws.
