In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of laws

On October 22, 2010 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

“On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On the Population Register” (a reporting judge – Leonid M. Ryabtsev);

“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Council of Europe Regarding Privileges and Immunities of the Representatives of Member-States of the Group against Corruption and of the Members of Inspection Teams” (a reporting judge – Petr P. Miklashevich);

“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Turkmenistan Government for Military and Military-technical Co-operation” (a reporting judge – Petr P. Miklashevich);

“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government, the Republic of Latvia Government and the Russian Federation Government on the Designation of the State Borders Junction between the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Latvia and the Russian Federation” (a reporting judge – Sergei P. Chigrinov);

Based on the results of consideration all the laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
