On October 11, 2010 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the laws adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
«On the Alterations and Addenda to the Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus» (a reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);
«On the Budget of the State Extrabudgetary Fund of Social Protection of the Population of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus for 2011» (a reporting judge – Vladimir P. Isotko );
«On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Republic of People’s Republic of China Government on Mutual Providing of Buildings and Land Plots for Embassies» (a reporting judge – Anatoly G. Tikovenko).
Based on the results of consideration all the mentioned laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. Though the Constitutional Court formulated its legal positions aimed at clarifying a constitutional and legal meaning of certain provisions of the laws.
