In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of laws

On October 8, 2010 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the laws adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

«On the Republican Budget for 2011» (a reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);

«On the Alterations and Addenda to the Budget Code of the Republic of Belarus» (a reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko).

Based on the results of consideration all the mentioned laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. Though the Constitutional Court formulated its legal positions aimed at clarifying a constitutional and legal meaning of certain provisions of these laws.
