On 11 May 2010 in the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the laws adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:

“On Ratification of the Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine on Referral of the Convicts for Further Service of Sentence” (a reporting judge – Petr P. Miklashevich);

“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Free-visa Trips of Citizens” (a reporting judge – Sergei P. Chigrinov);

“On Ratification of the Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine on the State Border” (a reporting judge – Sergei P. Chigrinov).

Based on the results of consideration all the mentioned laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
