In the exercise of obligatory preliminary review the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of the following laws adopted by the House of Representatives and approved by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
“On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Postal Service” (a reporting judge – Sergei P. Chigrinov);
“On Ratification of the Agreement for Co-operation of Member-States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Combating Vehicle Theft and Guarantee of Vehicle Return” (a reporting judge – Stanislav Y. Danilyuk);
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Republic of Kazakhstan Government for Co-operation in Higher and Postgraduate Education” (a reporting judge – Vladimir P. Isotko);
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and the Republic of Kazakhstan Government for Co-operation in Civil Defence, Emergency Prevention and Management” (a reporting judge – Leonid M. Ryabtsev);
“On Ratification of the Agreement on Uniform Principles of Information Interaction between Custom Services of Member-States of the Eurasian Economic Community” (a reporting judge – Liliya G. Kozyreva);
“On Ratification of the Agreement on Uniform Approaches to Employment of Information Technology in Customs Activities of Member-States of the Eurasian Economic Community” (a reporting judge – Olga G. Sergeeva);
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and Turkmenistan Government for Co-operation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Affairs” (a reporting judge – Tatyana S. Boiko);
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus Government and Turkmenistan Government on International Motor Passenger and Cargo Service” (a reporting judge – Sergei P. Chigrinov);
Based on the results of consideration all the mentioned laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
