In accordance with Decree № 14 of the President of the Republic of Belarus of June 26, 2008 “On Certain Measures to Improve the Activities of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus” in the exercise of obligatory preliminary control the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the constitutionality of following laws of the Republic of Belarus:
“On Approving the Republican Budget Performance Report for 2008”;
“On Making Alterations and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Precious Metals and Precious Stones”;
“On Making Alterations and Addenda to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on Labour Protection Issues”;
“On Making Alterations and Addenda to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus on State Statistics Issues”;
“On Making Alterations and Addenda to Certain Laws of the Republic of Belarus Regarding Environmental Protection and Rational Use of Natural Resources”;
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden on International Road Passenger and Freight Transportation”;
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the United Mexican States on Assistance in Making and Mutual Protection of Investment”;
“On Ratification of the Eighth Additional Protocol to the Universal Postal Union Charter”;
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Ireland on the Terms of Improving the Health of Underage Citizens of the Republic of Belarus in Ireland”;
“On Ratification of the Convention on the Legal Status of Working Migrants and Members of their Families from the States Participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States”;
“On Ratification of the Agreement on Co-operation of the States Participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States in Reducing Diabetes Mellitus Incidence Rate”;
“On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the State of Qatar on Military and Military-technical Co-operation”.
Based on the results of consideration all the laws were recognised to be conforming to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
