On 26 June 2026 Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Tatsiana Pratashchyk participated online in a round table entitled “Legal Science in the Architecture of Interparliamentary Dialogue: New Approaches to Creating Model Acts”

The event was held as part of the XIVth St. Petersburg International Legal Forum. The round table gathered representatives of legislative, executive, and judicial powers of the CIS member states, international organisations, the academic community, members of the Expert Council under the IPA CIS Standing Commission on Legal Issues, and representatives of specialised legal research and lawmaking centers of the CIS member states.

Discussions focused on the scientific justification for the need to develop a model act, legislative research methodology, scientific expertise, interaction between parliament and the academic community, the digital transformation of lawmaking, the use of artificial intelligence technologies in rulemaking, and digital interaction between the parliaments of the Commonwealth countries.
