Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus Siarhei Sivets met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus Alireza Sanei, stating that the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus had learnt with deep sadness the tragic news of the death of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Khamenei and innocent civilians as a result of a treacherous act of international aggression.

Siarhei Sivets expressed his sincere and profound condolences to the families and friends of the victims and solidarity with the heroic people of friendly Iran, expressing hope for a speedy peaceful resolution of the conflict, the restoration of the rights and freedoms of Iranian citizens, and the affirmation of the inalienable right to life and personal security.
